North Dade Medical Foundation Endowed Nursing Scholarships

Orig: Financial Aid to science students during first two years of college education who are preparin to transfer to UM as part of the BSN Program. Recipients must pledge to make best efforts to work in Miami Dade County using the skills for which FA was awarded for a period of not less than one year after graduation with BSN degree. If unable to find and keep employment in Miami Dade County, the recipient shall document his or her best efforts to donee and donne in its best judgement may determine that the financial aid recipient may be excused from this requirement. the grant is to supplement and not replace current numbrs and amounts of scholarships for nusing students for the Educational Partnership BSN Program. Donee shall maintain the total numbers and amounts of schlarships awarded in FY 04-05 using funds other than those provided by donor, and use donor’s funds for additional numbers and amounts of such scholarships in future years. Per modification of Agreement approved by Circuit Court in November 2015, NDMF Funds may be used to assist students pursuing a four-year BSN at STU.
